Could you survive the Alps without without Oxygène...?

Oxygène Ski School opened its doors in la Plagne in 1992 and expanded to Val d’Isère five years later, in 1997. A third structure was set up in Courchevel in 2004.

It seems we have been growing from strength to strength since our humble beginnings almost 20 years ago, when the Monvallier brothers decided to take skiing matters into their own hands and set up the life-support system every skier or would-be skier needs…

Oxygène offers instruction in and equipment for a wide variety of snow sports, including alpine skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, telemarking, off-piste skiing & guiding.

Our Instructors

'Professional & Safe'

At present we host a team of up to 80 instructors across la Plagne, Val d’Isère and in Courchevel & Meribel. All our instructors speak English as a first or second language along with many other major European languages (Italian, Spanish, German, Danish, Dutch, Russian…).

Our team of instructors comprises of various nationalities including French, Italian, British and Swiss, all in possession of the official French skiing diploma which is the highest qualification accessible in Europe. This ensures a professional and safe way to learn skiing and find your way around the mountains.

We also have a team of fully trained, experienced High Mountain Guides, all particularly familiar with our host resorts and its neighbours. Our guides are available for private excursions as well as group outings – please consult our “Price List” section.

For two years running, 2004 and 2005, Oxygène Ski School was awarded the “WHICH?” ski guide’s Golden Ski Award for Best Children’s Ski School of the year.

For 2009, Hardy’s Skiing & Snowboarding Guide awarded Oxygène Ski School the “Best European Ski School of the Year” award! Our pride goes without saying…
