The snowboard experts at Burton set up their pioneering Learn to Ride programme for one simple reason: to make sure that your first day on a snowboard is as good as your 100th.

We agree that that's the way snowboarding should be, and that's why Oxygène teamed up with Burton to create the first two Learn to Ride centres in France.

Morning group lessons: 9.00 - 12,00

Afternoon group lessons: 13.30 - 16.30 (Dec/Jan); 14.00 - 17.00 (Feb-April plus Christmas & New Year)

€205 for a course of 5 lessons (Monday - Friday)

Choose your level using the descriptions below:

Learn to Ride
For absolute beginners. Initiation to snowboarding, using specially adapted Burton 'Learn to Ride' boots, boards and bindings. Balance control on beginners’ slopes and use of drag-lift. Your goal is to be able to do short turns and side slipping by the end of the week.

Intermediate
For those who have a few days to a week’s experience. Your goal is to control short, linked turns on blue and red runs. Access to snowpark.

Freeride & Freestyle
Discovering “off-piste” and freeride boarding. You should be able to master all pistes in the area. Access to snowpark.

Extreme
For those who love a good thrill. Descending couloirs and vast off-piste boarding. You should be comfortable on all kinds of pistes at the start of the week.
